Dj Tina T confirmed to spin Cuban beats at the Nicolita Fashion show in Miami at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week

Dj Tina T has been confirmed to dj at the Nicolita show in Miami at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, July 2010. Born and raised in Seattle Washington, she came to Los Angeles to pursue her passion of music. She entered in the d j contest hosted by hip hop radio station POWER 106 Fm
and the world famous Big Boy in the Morning Show. But her big break was when she won LA Weekly's first ever DJ spin off battle.

She has traveled the world to perform at some of the hottest night clubs in Mexico, Canada, and the Bahamas. She has also shared stages with Lady Gaga, Samantha Ronson, and many more.

July 19th, 2010 Tina T will be mixing music for the Nicolita models at Miami Fashion week. YAY!

Nicolita's Favorite Perfume


It is important to Nicolita to smell great all the time. Her favorite perfume is Royal Violets by Augustin Reyes. It is a sweet smelling fragrance, that she started wearing when she was a baby. The Perfume's Cuban roots reminds her of her own heritage.

Since 1927 Agustín Reyes®, Inc. has created fine perfumes and personal care products. Using handcrafted recipes, a tradition of quality was established that continues today. Agustín Reyes I, began his career as an apprentice to a pharmacist. In his youth he learned to formulate products for health and beauty. He possessed a natural aptitude for chemistry, but also an entrepreneurial curiosity. On December 6, 1927 he created the formula for Royal Violets®. This day fragrance whose slogan would eventually become “el perfume de la juventud” (a fragrance for the young). This simple origin in Havana, Cuba was the first chapter of his American Dream.

Visionary Movement

Agustín Reyes II worked alongside his father in the factory in Havana. He was encouraged to study chemical engineering. So he set off to study at Georgetown Prep and later MIT. Agustín Reyes II, turned down lucrative job offers with cosmetic giants in order to stay close to his family in Miami. He used his education and experience to improve the factory with modern technology.

He jump-stared the business, repackaging the signature scent and renaming it “Royal Violets”. During the next 20 years the family went on to produce sun care products, dusting powders and other perfume lines.

Family Tradition

In keeping with the same family traditions and values of his father and grand-father, Agustín W. Reyes III. studied at Emory University. He returned with a master's degree in organic chemistry and the desire to guide the company from its home-based office to a proper plant. Today the company sells its' colognes throughout the United States, South America and as far away as Saudi Arabia. They do contract packaging, like body mists and alternative fragrances, in addition to their own products.

For the company's 75 th Anniversary they launched a collection of spray bottles, including the classic Royal Violets edition. They will eventually add hair gel and body wash. Explore Modeling Agency and Nicolita Model Search




National Model Search for Nicolita Swimwear's 2011 Collection

Nicolita Swimwear and ExploreModeling.com have teamed up again to discover one female to represent Nicolita Swimwear's 2011 collection (www.MyNicolita.com). This nationwide casting for models between the ages of 18 and 35 kicked off April 21, 2010 and will continue through June 25, 2010.

In mid-June, Nicole Di Rocco from Nicolita Swimwear and a panel of judges from the modeling industry, including Cristina DeHart (founder of ExploreModeling.com), will select one female to participate in a shoot and be featured on the MyNicolita.com website in conjunction with the launch of the company's 2011 line. The Raleigh to Host Sixth Season of Swimwear Shows From July 15-19, 2010

The summer season is upon us and the countdown has begun for Miami Beach's Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim. This July, IMG Fashion is pleased to announce its line-up with a record number of designers to showcase their collections for 2011. The Raleigh will once again become the epicenter of the fashion industry from July 15-19, 2010 as supermodels, celebrities, press and buyers come together to celebrate fashion and beauty with the sexiest swimwear designs in the world.
